Built in 1880, this Italianate- Victorian cottage is located in Sydney's
picturesque suburb of Annandale. In keeping with the architectural period it was important to emphasise the elaborate ornamentation of the highly decorative
facade. Dulux heritage colours were chosen for their relevance to the period; a green-based neutral anchors the building, a minty green and a traditional warm white accentuate the architectural detail, and the gold metallic highlights pick out significant features in
moderation. Inspired by the colourful facades of the Victorian houses in San
Francisco, the dynamic colour scheme is bursting with character.
